iro iro

yesterday, quite unplanned, i bought 2 more books

this morning, i finished reading one of them

i found out that i can easily finish books that are newly-bought. with probability of 1 to 2.

hopefully i'll start on that other book soon.

btw, for the one i just finished, i think i won't mind reading it again. i'll even consider bringing that along with me to the land of rising sun. this was my 3rd attempt of getting in haruki murakami's world. unlike the first two that i read, this one is non-fictional.

the content is just like what the title says. it's about running. actually just recently i was seriously thinking of starting getting my body in shape by the simplest means i can think of-jogging. and yesterday my meeting with this book is like fated, it's like saying to me, "don't let that thought be left only as thought realize it!"

and as for the rest of the book, it tells about the author himself how the very running influences him and his career. if i want to quote from the book, it's too much that are worthy to list here. it might not be an exaggeration if i say this book can be considered as a self-help book.

even more helping when i didn't have to buy at a hiking price it always is. for the first time i stepped into book xcess in amcorp mall, pj. if only i've gone there a lot earlier....

so, including that, my yesterday was great.

and it took a rollercoaster ride today. honestly, i feel very bad now. for several reasons i've yet to resolve.

even the thought that i'll be going to my dreamed nihon for real in only about 2 weeks from now doesn't make me feel better.

nice timing!!

well, i think i don't have to explain what happened today, just browse around my coursemates' blog for today's date and you can easily figure it out.

the thing is, i hardly fell so much into a pit, various things cheered me up!

the first thing is definitely my sensei-tachi. their words certainly are really encouraging and for some bits help me to laugh out loud. i would treasure those for a very long time to come for sure. i'm glad i happened to read those today after the adversity that fell upon us today.

#2, listening to flumpool's 'hana ni nare' lifts up my spirit yet again. like i said, what a nice timing that the song came to my ears exactly when i'm not at the best moment. along with ryuuta's mellifluous voice and the encouraging lyrics that strides along the whole song, it throws my anxiety away for now. even if i flung today, i can still bloom for another day, yeay Hana ni Nare!

#3, after returning home, as i've promised myself, i allow myself to touch this beloved notebook of mine after todays hellish paper and pamper myself with dramas and stuff (as a sort of consolation and tomorrow's holiday after all). so i decided to watch the one i already got stored in this for a while now-the main reason i have it is that it starred Mukai Osamu. oh my, i'm sooo into him now(followed with Okada Masaki and few others), he's among the most refreshing actors in Nihon right now. well almost all of my entertainment are Nihon stuff. so, what i watched for today was a movie titled "5 Nen go no Love Letter"/Love Letters for 5 Years Later. to say accurately, it's not a movie, it's originally a 12 mini episodes from some kind of handphone tv channel. it's a story about a father who does not even stand a chance to meet his son as he dies before the child is born but he already planned a surprise for the child and the mother which takes place 5 years after his death.

this story strongly reminds me of "P.S I Love You" the part with letters containing missions to be done whilst the sender is no longer in this world. but this story still does not lose of its own charms, and of course tear-jerking! for me who can only easily shed bead of tear (notice the singular form here) for dorama has indeed shed a whole lot for this one-my cheeks literally wet. one thing i notice about tear-jerking moment is that it's more often void of words. just uttering a line and then a moment of stillness with face expression perfectly matched to the situation is enough to break the dam of the tears down. the little boy's character also livens up the whole story. and he's cute to look at! (of course Mukai Osamu also never fails me in that area). in conclusion, i gotta say i love this story.

here's the early part of the story-sorry no english sub:

even only after about 3 minutes from the beginning, i can easily feel the tear brims, that's one touching scene

yes, it's setsunai (my vocabulary is shrinking further now when i can only think up of words of another language than the one i'm using at the moment).

p/s: this is totally trivial over here, the title of the upcoming new song from weaver did make me smile too. Ao iro Graffiti/Blue Grafitti, i'm wondering what kind of lyrics it'll contain this time, i always love songs from them, i respect Kawabe for being such a good song writer.

christmas+new year holiday

though i don't celebrate christmas, it doesn't mean i escape from being happy for it, i got holiday!!!

so, for this short interval of holiday we have, despite having schoolworks in hand, i prefer enjoying it to the fullest.

checklist 1: my sis's reception

the last time we got the whole family united was how many years ago i wonder, and this time it's quite a special occasion as it's the celebration for my sis's wedding. i haven't met her for nearly 2 years actually. well, when my dad said it's not gonna be that big of an event, it still ended up not to be that small. apart form my close relatives, there were also lots of others like my parents' acquaintances which majorly unknown to me. with my dad's recent road accident, a lot of guests were coming. and to add to that, i'm sure they're just curious to see the groom. they must've expected some truly caucasian-look guy, but believe it or not, my bro in-law can have the look of any ethnic, contrary to that expectation LOL.

this was captured at the end of the event, so unfortunately this does not exactly include my whole close relatives. funny when endou-san joked with me whether i can really remember all of my cousins' names, of course i do! ok, not their full names though :P (this is only part of relatives from my dad's side). if we were to combine the whole relatives both from my dad's and mom's side, the lens just won't fit. hahaha

checklist 2: a bit of KL walk

believe it or not, i've never been to KL Tower for twenty years i've been living in its vicinity. this time, for we were showing KL around to my bro in-law who finally set foot to Malaysia for the first time, i got the chance to be up in the air above 200ft (or do i get this wrong?). definitely, i won't refuse to go there again, or better, to go to any other towers to watch such a spectacular sight. it's amazing! apart from that, we also went around other places such as pavillion KL and KLCC. well, i don't know much places of interests in KL if you were to ask me besides the numerous shopping complexes it possesses. but still, next time, i'll be getting to the KLCC bridge for sure.

checklist 3 : new year countdown at Singapore!

this is what i looked forward the most. what makes this so exciting is that it's like our siblings' retreat~ well, it's actually was kinda a honeymoon trip for my sis and her husband, but we also tagged along for the later half of their trip. they had arrived there earlier so we only stayed for a night there to catch the countdown fireworks. it really was a wholesome trip after all. i love it go out with my sis as she would always suggest to stop for food every once in a while. in fact, we had 4 snack stops besides the main dinner-seafood! Singapore is really a nice city. it's clean! (in contrary to some city i'm used to) some people say you can see the city at its dirtiest during new year celebration, yet what i witnessed was that the road-cleaning-machines were already at work barely hours after the countdown. well, how i exactly saw those operating at those hours was because we were actually down at the streets to walk from where we watch the fireworks to our hotel which we reached at 4:30 a.m. lesson i learnt: if you wanna watch fireworks, book hotel nearby the venue. there were just no cabs available for us at the time so we had to drag our feet from clarke's quay to orchard road. nevertheless, it was an interesting night walk.

checklist 4: drama

i got to complete some of the dramas during the break. secret garden is by far the most anticipated drama. oh my, they're really brilliant actors/actresses! adding to that, as a girl i can't be escaped to be enchanted by the hotness of the actors~~

checklist 5: books

i borrowed a few books from sensei the other day and i got to go through 2 of them. 'nihonjin no shiranai nihongo' is so funny! and i got a lot of new infos as well, those things related to that complicated language. it's actually a manga strip collections, accompanied by few compositions regarding particular topics. and interesting read. and the other one of the same genre is 'rikei no hitobito'. truthfully i'm still halfway for this one. nevertheless, it gave me a good laugh how the mangaka puts the life of a science-stream people. for some parts, it might not get to you (the joke), but if you think further, you'll find how amusing it is.

let me do this in 10 minutes

yes, it's hectic times like this that i suddenly want to post an entry while having one whole report left undone.

but here i go, i went off wiki-ing some trivial stuff. (funny how wiki-ing sounds so acceptable as googling does)

there, i lost 2 minutes.

so, what i browsed about was Daruma Dolls. actually, i've been asking some people who are coming back from japan to get me this as omiyage. and of course, they just didn't find it and i got something else.

i mean, isn't this unique stuff is visible everywhere when i watch their dorama or whatever. is it so difficult to be found?

i found it really interesting to how they use the doll. to people who doesn't know, originally the eyes are blank and when one makes a wish, they colour one eye, and only after the wish is fulfilled the other is coloured. omoshiroi. somehow, it can be a reminder you still have to push more effort in pursuing what you desire.

so, back to why it's hard to find, i discover that 80% of the doll production is at Takasaki (Gunma Prefecture, north of Tokyo) source<---check this out! no wonder they couldn't find it easily, the people i asked it from lived so far from the said place.

okay, i got only a minute left.

so, eventually i passed the time limit i set for this by 8 minutes, it's because i thought of putting a screenshot of a dorama where i saw the most amazing form the daruma has taken, but i just couldn't remember of which episode it's featured in.

instead, i found this when i googled. look at those mini tiny ones below them all.

so, later folks!

what i had on Saturday

since early morning, it's a  day filled with entrance interviews & written exam, never lacks of its own nervousness, yet still amused to find one of the persons in charge as a very nice eye candy XD

hopes everything goes all right, not just for me, for the rest of us too.

but the fact is we're still far from being able to be relieved even after we would get the result for university entrance, we still have a few months to finish the current semester. with its own mind-boggling subjects to overcome.

and today, i had my regular dose of drama. you should never stop practicing, right? next week(precisely tomorrow), we gonna have a mock exam for jlpt. it seems to be last year paper. quite strange, now the one we gonna actually sit this year would be of revised new format though. but i guess the contents are still relevant, so why bother?

later, i searched around to expand my drama inventory. and sure, i did find some. there'll be day where i'll do dramarathon very soon.

and a burger for dinner.

a nap after a long day. emphasis: a NAP. coz it's only an hour. before i woke up to be startled for it was already 11 p.m.

and we already bought ticket for Harry Potter which showtime is 11:30. nevertheless, we made it in time, skipping the intro.

-thought of writing down about the movie, but the words just don't seem to flow out-

though not really what i would deem a marvelous one, it's quite a nice watch. and i haven't seen any movie lately. well, it does make me look forward for the latter part of this 7th installation of the movie series. it would be when i'll be scheduled to be in nihon already. should i make an effort of watching previous ones that i missed?

i guess i'll still succumb to the habit of reading any subtitle available, even if it would be japanese.

i should learn listening properly. sorry for never being a good listener. i'm just not inclined to be so.

whatever crap i'm starting to write here, it's nearly 3 in the morning and my eyes is still wide open while my brain is showing signs of needing rest.

for today, i hope it'll be a sunny day. it's sunday after all. and whatever will be coming today, i'm wishing so that  it'll be a happy one, something that could make me enjoy my day at least.

so, everyone, enjoy your day!

more reading list

here's what i hope i get to read/have in my possession before the year ends.just why they have to be so damn expensive at the moment?? anyone? *wink**wink*

and now i've gotten to the last part of 'children' by isaka kotaro. once i finish with that, i'll go compare it to the tv adaptation. the character 'jinnai' can't fail from amusing me.

and the other day, i got myself this cute little things i'd love to adorn my scarf, well their purpose is generally not only limited there, but i'll think of that later.

anyone interested? *begins daydreaming of getting more pocket money*

that was a nice one

Hari Raya was.... ok

well, i discovered my dad's photography tools have indeed increased where practically now we can have our own mini studio anywhere.

i'm not exaggerating.

which also means a good thing, coz i yet to take pictures asked by sensei. nevertheless, school won't start until the next 4 days. there's still time, hehehe

so, unlike what i expected, this time my dad didn't take many days off for Raya so by last Monday we were already back home. so, what my bro and i planned was to go raya by ourselves down to Johor. 3 houses cleared!

meeting relatives is a good thing once in a while. it goes without saying though. and another good thing was our journey didn't take that long, thank goodness there wasn't any heavy traffic jam. might be faster if it was my dad's Honda Accord but that's out of question. one more good thing is, travelling in a car without your parents means you can have music of your own choice. as loud as you want.

i'm so glad i didn't forget to bring my Flumpool cd on board! now, that is really money not wasted. i could play it multiple times along the journey. oh, Ryuuta, your voice is really delightful to the ears along with such great music you guys play. kimochi ha todoiteruyo!! and what a nice feeling when you get to brag about artist you love so much to someone new. and he didn't complain which means he do not hate it. yeay!

now, i'm waiting for my copy of Weaver's cd, then i can play it while cruising on the car. i bet he won't say no to this one. their music is just fabulous! even if none of what is said can be understood, music still is enjoyable for anyone, right. but i gotta say, weaver's lyrics are really nice and for someone proficient in nihongo, theirs are pretty easy to catch, and there, you'll be dazed. Kawabe(the lyric writer in Weaver), i really respect you for this. aaa, even now, i'm playing 'Kanseitou' on repeat.

and i ate too much... i'm worried for the medical check up tomorrow. going to Danga Bay again was indeed fun. never though i would ride on that bicycle again, and this altogether with a total of 6 adults!

random

it's still dark out there, i'm writing this on half past 6 in the morning

yesterday, instead of getting my shower in the bathroom, i took mine under the rain

am so excited to get past half of the book i'm reading now. Has-sensei, owari made ganbarimasuyo!

my Weaver fever just ran up so high after discovering a fan community for them
oooh, kawabe, i really want to see you doing live performance in front of my eyes

and making a new friend who's solely responsible for making me so drunk on Weaver

am so so excited to wait for my copy of their album!! aah, the PV of 'Kanseitou' is ever making me more impatient~

and a current update on kazuki's translated blog really made up my morning!

i dunno know for how many times i keep playing Kimi no Todoke video, oh ryuuta, you really make me melt

i just started rereading Maou Juvenile Remix manga. quite surprised to see how fast i can read it now compared to when i bought those nearly half a year ago, yes, go iman!

currently trying to list up the goi that's apparently going to be beneficial for us who's taking JLPT lvl 1 (it's called N1 now?) thanks for those who's cooperating, i appreciate it! and i'm still open for those who's want to offer their help in this too

kinda regret for leaving flumpool fourbond at shah alam. otherwise, i could flail while reading it. haven't read the latter half yet.

just so pissed off with the internet at this house. is what my dad says true that in very near future we're using fibre optic? he says it's the yellow line i can see on the telekom wireline by the road. i want to believe it but i dunno.... please spare me from this so-infuriating-internet speed.

and wimax does not really alleviate my irritation as it only have fast speed for a few days every month before reverting back to its usual snail-pace

which explains why till now i haven't watched Hotaru no Hikari episode 9

oh Buchouu, i miss you~~~~~

facebook recently is getting annoying, what's with all the hype regarding it? and how more people are just tagging hari raya cards instead of personally sending it. even sms are better, at least there's still that personal feeling as in "to ....."

but then, facebook is my second most frequented website.

and i actually found empty hari raya cards while doing spring cleaning the other day. but then i don't know where my mom put those. zannen~

and really happy to receive one all the way from nihon. thanks a lot Aqilah-senpai!! it's beside this notebook now.

am relieved my dad doesn't seem yet to get obsessed of making ketupat for this Raya. or else i have to weave them like usual. well, i don't care if i only have to do 5 of them but when it comes to 50, iya da!!

i dunno why but the Raya mode just hasn't yet dawned on me. oh, is it tomorrow? i'm screwed, haven't packed my bag yet. thankfully we're only going back to johor until sunday.

my brother is bugging (is this the right word in this case?) me as for what we would do next one week we got free coz my dad's working. i just hope my mom won't be in the way of us enjoying this duration as we like.

on this 18th, it's open house at Farah's house, really looking forward to this, please let me go!

and so much of my friends are already leaving Malaysia. it's okay iman, only half a year left......

and oh yeah, after that, definitely i'll go watch Flumpool and Weaver!!! if only they know how they got such a huge fan out here always waiting for the day to watch them live or even to get to know them personally. they're amazing people (at least, in my eyes), that's why. also among the reasons i'm so eager learning nihongo every single day and why i thrived through everyday though engineering in japanese is just so damn tough (sorry, is that foul word?)

when i finish writing this, it's still quite dark outside. when i edited it, it's already (gosh, i forgot what's the antonym for dark!) ok, numerically, it's already 7.

when 4 days feel like 4 weeks

it's more than i expected

first week is already this tough, well i should brace myself for this.... a mounting work before i can even come to realization that in fact the school has started... no need to say, my 1st day was a complete defeat, sorry sensei, i couldn't get my eyelids open that day, it's too much of a shock... and more subjects too new to me it takes time to get used to all of it. nonetheless, much thanks sensei, u makes it all seem interesting though the workload is beyond words. maaa, i gotta get in love with all this zairyou, keisoku, sekkei, kikai kikou/youso, netsurikigaku, and definitely the mind-boggling math, yoroshiku ne ueno-sensei~

however, the experiment we did was really interesting. only that, the report that follows stirs a chaos in my mind now. ganbarou2~~!

fatigue accumulates and wins me over

but yeay, tomorrow's friday!!! and something i've long been anticipating will finally reach my hands!!!

anyway, i'm glad i had a pleasurable weekend prior starting my new arduous semester.
yeah, it was a right decision to just watch 2 movies at once. 'woochi' is so hilarious despite being an action movie. well, korean movies tend to be like so, this reminds me of 'the host'. i laughed my heart out watching that one even though it's like a science-fic movie. and the second movie i watch was 'kaiji' starring fujiwara tatsuya(do i spell this right? he's the one as raito in death note). they certainly made a mistake when putting 'the greatest gambler' as the tagline for the movie. the story is focused on that kaiji character alone, and so little of everything else. and i'm sure this must originate from some manga coz it's full of that air. not really a bad one though. when i thought matsuyama kenichi would be an important character, he's erased too soon... but the ending is quite nice~~ i love that kind of ending

so, the movies i'm looking forward to next is shrek:the final chapter, and toy story 3. isshoni mi ni ikanai?

i could foresee a drainage of money beyond control... what more next week they seem to be interested for the pc fair, too much of a possibility i'll be flowed along.

the second quarter

so, what exactly did i do in the first 3 days of the 2nd quarter of 2010?

April 1st:
  • further engrossed in my obsession while honing my nihongo in the same time. while i thought that a series of Q&A would be pretty simple than a whole long interview, i was quite wrong. but after all, i'm happy to be able to share.... hahaha, fandom talks. the reason why it's been quiet these few days with no entry in this blogger.
  • and watched 'Clash of the Titans'. honestly, it's just not my cup of tea. full of actions but simply boring. i nearly slept when i watched those guys in a fight. and 3D chinese subtitle does not make it any better.
  • and finally returned to tbp after a long while. rearranged our room and my desire to have a map on the naked wall facing the bed is overflowing now.
  • the questionnaire was making us all panic, lost mine and ended up copying it all by hand.

April 2nd:
  • we had our guidance session. a clearer view on the route of what we gonna go through starting from now. and also just why they didn't give out the infos on those respective universities earlier? found out the university of choice from long ago (for the sake of such interesting vibes it gives off) does not in fact have the research of my interest. aaahh~
  • a briefing (but it does not even brief) on the labworks and whatever related on our mechanical course. seems interesting but it starts as soon as this monday requiring me to gather info on tensile test soon. and i'm at home now, that certainly is not helping in the slightest bit. at home, i'm super-sloth.
  • finally i know where Pakcik Tahir lives. so much tolls on the way there.
  • oh forgot, received the books we suppose to soak in our brain for the sem. should i say, a mountain of them?

April 3rd:
  • being a complete sloth

between K university and K university, i'm in dilemma. okay, let's strive harder if i ever wish to able to get into that 'K university'~~ XD

from 10 to 1

to wake up early after so long having used to just sleep in sure is tough. so my day started at 10 a.m.

okay, i might sound like a slob which i'm afraid i really am one for i usually open my eyes only in the afternoon. but yesterday, it was different. i had a mission. i'm determined of getting myself a map, i've always wanted one but there's just no one to give it to me. frankly speaking, there was more than once i've been seriously thinking of just snatching the one from our class and take it home to stick in my bedroom wall. i always like looking at maps and what i haven't have is the majestic nihon map. my world map has been tattered so bad it doesn't fit to be sticked on the wall no more.

the wall is naked.

okay, with exception for that clock, and 'がんばって' lil poster, and a modest picture of a building of keio daigaku-this is lia's obviously.

so, there started my quest for a map which i hope there'll be sold somewhere in kl. i went to kinokinuya, the likeliest place it could be. ok, i did found one-the folding traveller's one. i guess my search is quite over so while i just hold it in my hand, i tried to give myself super-excitement by getting this chance to get the flumpool artistbook i've been coveting so much. the last time i checked on the net, it's in stock. oh, it's not among the magazines, so i checked with the counter. hmm, he was looking so hard for it too, i mean i've checked there, of course it's not there when you look at the same place. it's not anywhere. to my disappointment, the book just can't be found, and here he said:

"perhaps someone has gotten it before you came, we had TWO of it"

what?? of coz someone has taken it coz they have reserved it beforehand (of which one of these people just happens to be in my knowledge), but then, you only have TWO??? i know this favourite band of mine is not that popular and maybe it's still fresh, but you only got TWO of it??? why?? do you think there's only 2 people in malaysia who wants to get their hands on it?? せっかくそこまで来たのに~ たまたま、今日お金をたっぷり持ったのに~

悔しい~~~~~~~~~~~

and when i'm not frustrated enough, when i checked the map i got in my hand, it's not exactly what i want. it's wholly in romaji~ gosh, it just defeats the purpose then. the whole reason i want to have that very map is so that i can read those kanji. how else can i get used to those stupid names of places with so confusing kanji they have. yea, i enjoy looking at maps and i want to perfectly know how to read it! oh pleaseee. and then the man recommended me to go somewhere else. japan club? why did i feel i never heard of that?

more sweats and more getting clueless on the street, first i came into JFKL library which i never even knew existed so near the midvalley. wow~ it just seems so interesting but not today. then i walked on to a point i felt i'm completely lost in the middle of KL until i finally saw the sign. but what awaited me at the end of the road really came to me as a surprise. Institut Bahasa Teikyo(IBT)?? WOW, it's just located here all along? whatever. this discovery by accident didn't budge me from my original intention. seems that that japan club the guy was talking was here after all and there was supposed to be a some kind of a store which plausibly have what i'm searching for. i just barged in a place so alien to me. only to end in vain. they don't have it here either but what they do have is exteremly appealing to me. used manga, rental manga, rental dvd-all kinds, be it jdrama(even the very latest ones), jmovie or english hit tv series. i never knew such place really exist in KL. hohoho, so if i were a member, i could just easily use all these facility? how convenient.

when i thought i would just walk home in half-disappointment, an even more unexpected thing happened. my awkward presence here was somehow spotted my junior from high school who is currently studying there. a very nice surprise. we had quite a long chat before waiting for her bus home. and guess how luxurious they are provided to be, from air-conditioned house moving to a condo. but well, looking at what they have to learn in class, seems so tough for me. imagine, to learn about history or geography in an entirely different language you ever been used to. super-tough for me. at least math and physics heavily deals with numbers-the same system agreed by the whole world.

so dusk came by, but my day was far from over. straight away, a few minutes after reached home, i'm moving once again. to the airport. Sabu's leaving tonight and i ought to at least see him off. i can't deny this tinge of envy to see him leaving for nihon ahead of us. but then it just means it's now less than 365 days before our turn. okay, not long, but not before mountful of reports as second year student. that's somehow scary. it's not that i dread it so much but it can be a pain in the head. so, after waving our goodbyes and wishing all the best, the four of us who went(Rifqi the 'careful' driver, while the rest being the girls who keeps the car alive with noise) got back in the seat of the car, got back to reality and listened well enough to our stomach's grumbling. time to eat!

well, not before Kinta decided to pose for pictures at Putrajaya in the night time. one lucky bridge as a setting for our stop and what a nice breeze it was. nice pictures followed i hope. good thing there was only a few cars passing by or many would think who are these crazy people.

and our dinner cum supper was satiated at a mamak place. to generously put sauce and mayo on a naan is not really a nice idea those mamak have come out with.

and when we've sent the other two safely back to shah alam, i guess the sleepiness finally kicked in. oh, it was already 1 o'clock.
nevertheless, of course i won't just fall asleep straight away, not with such driving i could yet feel fully reassured of :P whatever it is, thanks rifqi for bringing kinta, lani and me along!

where did i lost my key?

hmmm, by now, when i'm surfing around and goes blog-hopping, it seems most of my fellow coursemates(or even the other course) have been in touch with reality-holiday almost over. yeah, they're already revving their engine for the coming semester. and me here, it's like i even forget where's the key to switch on my engine. hahaha. and, as of now, there's one thing that's been in mind of every each of us, THAT paper..

well, i guess i have to do a search in my memories to remember where did i put that sheet of paper though.

am i wrong if i'm thinking whatever work i'll do after graduate, i'll figure out later? not now? i mean, let me explore whatever opportunities there are before reaching to a conclusion what kind of work i want to do. the me at this moment knows so little about anything. even if i say i've gone through one year as engineering student, i barely know what engineering is about... gosh, this only makes me look so damn ignorant. but, i'm serious. i don't know what to expect. apparently, my biggest problem now is i don't even have a picture of what i want to be in the future. okay, aside from being rich enough to possess everything i desire materialistically and plausibly a nice family to be built-hehehe, that's just every girls' dream.

anyway, to everyone facing the same worry as i am, wishing you all find the answer before the deadline. would i be scolded if i just say the reason i'm choosing a university is based on its theme colour?

talking about colour, the black dragon in the movie i watched last afternoon was really cute! i'm not so fond of black usually but this one is very adorable. okay, perhaps the big, soft-looking eyes makes me feel so. i can't help squealing a bit when it makes such a cute gesture. and funny how it's named 'toothless'. yea, i'm talking about 'how to train your dragon'. it's another animation movie which i love! it's hilarious, heart-warming, and enjoyable to watch from beginning to end. the animation works as always, stunning-which is why you have to see it in original, not from some shitty pirated dvds where the quality pictures gone down the drain. for the story, it's a story about a boy who are physically different among the society of viking he's living in. yea, might be stereotypical to any other story where there's a weak character and keep causing trouble to everyone around him, but hoping one day these people will acknowledge him. so, in this story, this stick boy happens to shoot down a dragon most feared by all people, and discovers that these dragons they have been fighting are more than just meets the eye.

well, it's a story about courage, and using your brain.

but i love how funny some lines from the movie can be. it's said in such a plain way, but i can burst out laughing all i could. nevertheless, at some point of the story i can't escape being a bit jealous to the main character of the story when he had found what he can do in his life, and to find something he is so good at, unlike me. i feel like i'm a lost cause. okay, perhaps it's only a matter of time........ only time......

terengganu escapade (a long-winded account)

what terengganu ever reminded me of is none other than the long long journey just to reach there. i remembered when i was little, i lay at the back seat of the car, sleep and waking up, sleep again and wake up again and we still hadn't reach our destination. a very tiring journey i would say. but last week, i have no regret making that long journey one more time.

it's really worth it! -first of all, you just have to take night bus coz u wouldn't realize the passing time. it was a short 3 days and 3 night trip but it was so eventful and such a memorable time i've spent there.

Day 1(Sat, 20 March):
Kuala Terengganu/Marang
this is the trigger for the idea for the whole trip. it was the wedding of our sensei! of coz, initially i would've never thought of attending coz obviously, it's so far! but then, a lot of us were planning to go, and it just seemed so interesting. very interesting, indeed! we went in a convoy of 4 cars, head count: 19. it really was a merry occasion. and i never thought what i said hits the bull's eye when i jokingly said we would only be in time if only sensei is jawa, uhukuhukjawa has amazing time definitionuhukuhuk. and her family really is! in the middle of terengganu. though we were kinda late, we still were welcome. and the souvenir we received were really into our liking-cute homemade tissue holder, folding fan and umbrella! thanks sensei! wish you a happy marriage till the end of time.

and i would like to extend my gratitude to saro's family for their hospitality along my stay that whole day(and night). my first time having nasi dagang as breakfast.

Day 2(Sun, 21 March):
the highlight of the whole trip- Redang Island!!!!! actually, i really dislike getting on board the ferry but i've no regret getting on this one. what awaited us at the island was really breathtaking and astonishing. i can't help giggling when suki keep saying "i feel like we're not in Malaysia". oh yeah, this Redang plan only comprised of us three-me, huda and suki. an adventurous bunch, aren't we? hehehe... so, as soon as we arrived there, the crystal-clear sea amuses us so much, we didn't wait frolicking on the beach, getting excited with the sight of the beautiful scenery all around us. and that very afternoon, we straight on getting our first time experience to snorkel. so funny there's none of us who could swim, so initially i didn't deny we were a bit chickened out. but when i saw the view inside the sea, woaaaaa, kirei!!!!!! this is no longer only visible thru the tv screen, it's before my two very eyes. it's like an entire forest perfectly preserved, only that it's underwater. subhanallah~~ so, so, so, so beautiful!!! can hardly describe it in words. i'm completely enchanted. the corals, the fishes, the whole creatures i don't know what they are called, i was speechless. the guide kindly caught a clownfish to let us it close-up, let us touch gamat and more importantly led us around coz we don't know how to move, hahaha. i really wanna do it again. next plan, anyone?

oh yea, here we also met with a very friendly couple, especially the wive. can't really guess she's actually a mother of two. she looks so young and lively. they're more adventurous than us, they just got on the boat and randomly survey a place to stay upon arrival, cancelling their original plan. somehow i felt like doing the same someday, in nihon kanaa...

Day 3(Mon, 22 March):
Kemaman
well, we returned from Redang after only 1 night. tarinai naa... well, our budget only goes as far. the ferry trip back was a lot better, i'm grateful for that but my pants is all sandy-Redang sand. so, before heading on our next destination, we stopped by Pasar Payang which is just next to the jetty we arrived at. my objective fulfilled-i just wanted to buy Asam Jawa which to my surprise my 2 buddies has never tried. it's way better than any of its derived products. the original still is the best. then, boarded on the bus, never knew Kuala Terengganu and Kemaman is so far. but i was very disturbed with a fellow passenger who can't lower his voice on the phone just behind me-that's plain irritating. at Kemaman, we went to Fatin's house. actually we're the last batch of the visitors at her place. she's been entertaining our friends coming to her house for a few days straight. her mom must have been confused as to who has come and gone. Here, it was my first time eating Pais and Terengganu-style Otak-otak, they spell it Otok-otok though. such a good feeling to eat it while being caressed by the breeze at the beach. if only we have a university located near the beach among our selections. it's really nice~

Last Day
Back to KL
my bus returning to KL departed near afternoon. thank goodness, it only takes about 5-6 hours from Kemaman. i brought along Keropok Lekor-i wished i've brought more, it's simply not enough. so, upon arrival, i immediately stored my bag at the bag counter (such fortunate thing i got spare money coz my wallet in entirely empty) and headed straight to the book fair at PWTC next to the station. quite relieved it's a weekday, i just hate over-crowded places, it's suffocating. withdrew my money and spent it all! okay, i lied, i did have the remaining RM7 on my way back. yes, books are dangerous, for my pocket. i bought 3 leisure reads-comics, 2 Terry Pratchetts' novel, 3 back-issue magazine(dunno why but Popular Science is so hard to find among those bulk), one non-fiction novel-a malay one(wow!) and self-stick book cover. wanna buy more but i'm financially restricted.

i've overspent this whole month.

And a few days after that(today)
completely engrossed in flumpool.. shiawase~~

koe kareru made

(this post is done yesterday where i slept midway while typing it, so funny to just sleep like that even the notebook laid together with me on the bed :P)

haven't properly slept for more than 24 hours now (2 minutes wink not included)

my eyes droopy, my leg joint wears out

today's a tiring one, yet a enjoyable one~

and i could sing all i could, yeah, a revenge from last week!

well, my throat went to its limit, my voice gone hoarse, but it all felt just soo goood

and i got to sing flumpool!!a few of their songs which i already had it at the tip of my tongue. and also the song i like most from weaver-白朝夢, i always would like to sing that out loud

and lots of others too, and i'm getting better and getting used to the orders of hiragana characters, it's not that hard actually, just like how you first trying to remember the order of the alphabets

even so, i can't imagine how people could do a singing marathon, they must have trained the throats well. unlike me, who just force all out even for a single song (this kinda reminds me of some flumpool interview). after a couple hours, i could feel my voice dying out. thank goodness the drink we had was tea instead of some sweet beverage. oh, and that japanese icecream is tasty too, i wonder how that one costs, hahaha. well the yakisoba a.k.a mi goreng which smells a lot of those perencah alone costs rm15.

and we kept on singing our heart out....

definitely going to give it a go again, let's go, YUME KUKAN (this is the name of that premise, quite a nice one, at least it has what i seek for, it's run by some nihonjin)

anyway, the song i've been working on last night wasn't available in the list though. well, last night i went again testing my comprehension in nihongo, in none other but my favorite flumpool's lyrics. oh, i can't stop this sheer infatuation no more. ryuuta really is someone who has his amazing way with words, it kept me wondering what he really wants to convey, like the one i just did here-song title: Hydrangea. really wish my nihongo proficiency is already excellent by now. talking abt proficiency, our jlpt result already out, kono mama jaa, seems like this year lvl1 will be tough.......

feel like my money been cheated off

well, not exactly so, but in sense, yes. i was such a bloody fool for not giving it a full thought b4 draining my money away.

and on top of it, it's not even a thing i can enjoy. nor it for a charity.

it was some sort of supposed-to-benefit-you-in-time-you-need-it. of course the chances are hardly there!

i'm generally weak when someone urges me and pushes me where eventually i'll just give in to whatever they're leading me to. and now, someone i don't even know made me 'invest' for whatever i doubt will become of use. so, it's just plain waste. feel like some kind of character in drama where their money been swindled off.

and a lump sum of it.

i'm a fool, ain't i??

now, more than i hate that stranger who led me to that particular cause, i'm hating myself. fool, fool, fool, fool!

arrrghh. and this is money we're talking about.

some may say they're just paper scraps, but it's not something you can just throw away foolishly. even burning those are useful as a source of fuel when you are out freezing.

anyway, before that regretful act i did, i'm pretty satisfied with another purchase of the rest of my "maou:juvenile remix" collection. now, i've cleaned that manga series off the racks of kinokinuya. it only took me a week to completely buying it all when i initially thought i'll buy it gradually, perhaps only 2 volumes per month. alas, i already posessed the whole set by now. manga is dangerous.... or more generally bookstore are dangerous! hahaha, i spent more of those 'scrap papers' of mine in bookstores rather than on clothes or shoes or whatever normally girls would be crazy of.

holiday sure exhausts money out of you.....

oh, and today, after somewhat a decade, i tried entering exploring petrosains again! okay, a trip alone sure is not as interesting, nevertheless i enjoyed quite a lot of it. i can get engrossed for so many hours....

two thirds done

that pretty much means only a year left to be endured. well i ain't going to say the past 2 years passed in a blink, we did quite a lot of things, so much memories carved (gosh, i sound like everything's already over). but yes, time does fly even when we realize it not.

going on to the latest news, umm, the last final exam result is already out. okay, like i've said before, expectations are bound not be met. and this time, i pretty much messed up. i'm sorry to myself.

gjvinof;blidskagm;rld (i don't want to really remember about it)

and back to the previous two days, it was our senpai graduation dinner. oh, today's their graduation day. congratz!!! finally they can advance on straight to nihon! i'm wishing best of luck to all of them, okay luck might not sound right, i wish they will always be in Allah's bless. and everyone did dress up to the max that night. as if it was some sort of fashion gala in some sense. well, the teachers were not losing to their own cute lil students too. (photos currently not available)

i'll miss them, these wonderful teachers....

but i still think, in term of menu i prefer last year's lunch(here's link for that last year's post and u'll know why). hahaha. and for the entertainment, all the dance practices they have done were really worth it. otsukaresamadesu~~ it's entirely entertaining. and the graduating senpai's poem recital is kinda heart rending too. and this year too, the matric students did a bit of play like we did last year when we were matric students (dun wanna comment further coz i would be biased :P). following that, band performances like usual and some karaoke-like performance. and that was pretty much it.

so, in all these graduations mood, while i do feel envy for my senpai and a few of friends of mine in other programs (for the obvious reason, they are now ready off to nihon), there are some other graduating bunch who aroused far extreme envy in me. earlier when i described how our grad party goes, that was it, but these bunch of lucky kids got a far better deal. might be trivial for others, but a big deal for me if my favourite band is coming and to perform live. if only they (who else, flumpool! yeah this is a story which only happen in nihon) would come on my graduation day, i will be so very blissed~~!!! those high school kids are so lucky! if i were to remember how it was like during my high graduation, it was so damn boring, just to wait each of 300++ students to come up the stage and those long-winded speech by whoever concerned. and to add, our robe was really not what we would be proud of to show-off to anyone.

ok, only one more year.... while there's no way flumpool would come all the way to my graduation, their songs are still my favourites. and the following is a song which they performed during their budokan live last october. funny when i discovered there's some snail story involved :P

左右でstep by step and give up
ささやく矛盾のステレオサウンド
そうやって自問自答
いつだって 今だって

parallel my mind, parallel my mind

parallel my mind, parallel my mind
どちらの僕も僕であって
右へ左へ回れ右して
いつか体が干からびたって
それでも僕が笑えるなら
立ちはだかる 砂漠の荒野へ

i have no idea what 'parallel my mind' means though :P

不満なんかいっぱいけど、楽しかったなぁ

i guess i would never step in RED BOX again...

they really fail in organizing the songs that 'I' want to sing. that was so hard just to find any song that i know of.

but still, it was fun, going karaoke for the first time in my life. it was barely 2-3 hours but my throat do takes the toll. it's really relieving to shout out loud, and no one bothers with that. well, if they do, what would the money i paid worth for, right??

so, thanks my buddies!!! definitely we're going again next time to a far better place where i CAN sing what i know and WANT to. flumpool is mandatory XP

nevertheless, aside from karaoke, i did drain my money to clothes (i'm sooo delighted~) as well as manga, like i had expected though i've tried to hold myself from buying more. lest, i did. shopping really makes one happy!!

and on my journey home, i was surprised by a hot burning news. i mean, truly burning. a house of my friend was caught on fire!! truly unbelievable! i never ever once thought such an incident could happen. and even sadder that the loss due to the fire included a few phones (the high-end ones) and brand-new notebook~ they really have my sympathy.

and more news:

yea, it seems on March 14th(that's only few days away), they gonna release their artist book-a thing i would of course sought for!! i want this soo bad, anyone generous enough?? pleeaaaassseeee *winking puppy eyes*

guuzen to ka hitsuzen

it was a blessing in disguise

when i was already exhausted of being in inactivity for more than a week, i at last took a fresh air outside, away from my house to where my friends were supposed to be waiting. i just can't help from being a bit excited when they said they were going karaoke. yeah, though it was a long haul from my house, can you believe it, 20 stations? and one transit where the waiting is just as one could expect from ktm.

well, finally i arrived after all. without knowing it was somehow cancelled.

to window shop on your own is just as interesting. ok, not really, if you don't know what to window shop. but still, subway's as delicious as i remembered it. to any hungry stomach, it undeniably is. so, i just walk around, and around, and around with no aim in mind, and i got bored. so, on the way back home, i guess, why don't i take a detour to kl? kinokuniya always is a nice place (aside from the fact it's located at the crowded klcc). and on the way, i managed to stop by a cd shop and bought 3 dvd- i wish they have those in pirate dvd, it won't hurt my wallet as much.

no fail, klcc is crowded despite it was a weekday. but then, i just find my cove and what a heaven to feed my obsession. ok, this time, no flumpool (i've already bought that magazine they have on rack). and i browse around for others that might catch my interest. and i remembered isaka koutarou.

what an astonishment when i recently knew he not only has his works done as movies (he's a novelist, and oh, some of the movies were mentioned in my previous posts, they're great ones), there are also manga!! and what makes me happier than to find those on the kinokuniya's rack. okay, i did make a teeny effort to read those magz i've bought so far but it's just too texty. and kanji bakkari, maa, soon i'll be able to stride thru those smoothly i guess. but now, manga seems more like a greater deal. and to top it off, this one that just caught my interest-"maou:juvenile remix" is a shounen-manga, means there are furigana for like every kanji. hahaha. somehow, i love to be spoiled. well, of course they come with a cost especially when my hands resisted to not take only one, but two of them.

what happened afterward did caught me by surprise. true, i knew some of my friends are here, but i don't expect to run into them (klcc's big, man). and of coz, i don't expect i would even spend my evening till late with them there, and to have such a marvellous dinner together with our dear sensei. it was wonderful. i might have gone to klcc numerous times just to hang out, but i never set foot in those restaurants it's mushroomed with. so hard to be on budget all the time. but then, the dinner we had last night was fantastic, not even a full course but a memorable one. 1st, coz it was also as celebration for our bday boy yesterday, raziz! we had cake and delicious food. of coz it's good! it must be for how much the price it's worth. and we talked, and chatted and had fun. truly fun. i think we were the noisiest party in the whole restaurant, sorry about that, but we can't help but to laugh every now and then. and it's fun to teases our bday boy when he's nearly in tears. well, no more crybaby now he's twenty. and also to kuga-sensei whom we at least want to give present to before our farewell, she's really an interesting teacher i would remember for lifetime. i'll miss her.

my legs all sore from a day worth of walking but my heart is so full of relish.

and to check my cimb account, i have 5 transactions during yesterday alone. shopping is relieving!

and i am in dilemma, i definitely want the rest of volume for the manga i bought yesterday, but then, it'll definitely cause a financial worry on the other side. to add,  my dvd tht's due to come soon also requires money. aaaahh,

so, what shall i do?

ok, first, alhamdulillah, exam has passed and gone by for good. the moment it finally ended, i felt such relief that was beyond words. felt like i wanna scream out loud, let out everything that has stuck inside while holding myself along the strenuous period of what we call exam.

alhamdulillah again, eventually what's left is just leave it to god. i dare not to put high expectation, better accept whatever would turn out. so, all my exam grumbles would cease for the moment, until the next one comes up. well, i need not to worry that early, before that, we have more than one month off!

i love time by myself like this!

so, the first thing i did, and also with my friends was, eat out! maa, to eat big mac after a long while is quite a treat too!

then, it's without question i'd stick to this notebook :P. and i couldn't quite believe i watched a movie-japanese that stretches nearly 4-hour long! never knew they have one that long. nevertheless, the story was pretty well-structured and those hours i watched didn't feel that long. or should i say, it's like watching the whole episodes of a drama series which i indeed do at times. a good thing i didn't watch it straight the previous day when i first found the movie, or else i afraid it would jeopardize my chemistry paper.
my own review: this movie entitled 'Ai no Mukidashi/Love Exposure' would remind you how lucky to be properly loved and nurtured and grow up in a nice environment. the main characters of the story are tragically lacking in love which turns them into people of twisted personalities. for the protagonist(Yu), i can't help but pity him throughout the story. how essentially he is never a bad boy, but he inadvertently turns out to be one out of pure hunger of love from his own sole parent. and the despair he lives through following that. the only thing that kept him going was remembering a promise made with his mom to find his own maria. the funny thing is, how he ended up doing all the bad things just for sake of committing sins-an act he deems would make his father appear as one. eventually, he did find the girl he's been searching but not without the conflicts that intertwine together. and thus, the story further developed and progressed beautifully. well, i can't deny this movie heavily touches the theme of those perversion and explicitly shows those obscene parts some people just couldn't take it in, but the story runs into deeper questions behind all that. but certainly not for kids i guess, with so much exposure on those things including frequent skirts-up, excessive uncovered skins, notorious turned-on moments, snoggings and all. and also to remind, it's not for someone who's weak against blood coz it's like some yakuza movies at times.but like i said, the story is enough to let you set those things aside to focus on the core of the story.

and not just the story itself, the way it is narrated can hardly bore you out like some other movies. appropriate soundtracks at the most appropriate times, multiple point of views to clearly explain the characters present, nice cinematography (i love the way it does the close-ups for when there are dialogues and also the unstable camera that depicts the unstable condition of the character-gosh what am i saying here), and definitely such effective casts they have here. nice-looking man with the most adorable smile as the most front certainly comes as a strong reason you stick to watching it.

and sure enough, such story has moments where it's just heart-wrenching, my tear glands did their best there.

one of the remarkable scenes i love is where Yu has lost it all and was thrown into bottomless despair, with practically nothing he could do, he was left lying cold on the road with no hope left in sight. and here's where his buddies appear, covering him with a jacket which comes together with a 50% less tag, trying to console him, so he hopes this would at least cut down his poor buddy's sadness by 50%. tht's just so sweet in the middle of such a sad scene.

....i got touched easily watching stories

it's 9 inches, not 9 slices

try to imagine if they really regularly divide the pizza into 9

poor the one that's holding the knife, wondering how to cut it, how to make a 40degree angle segments

so, my friends, for a 9-inch regular pizza, there's only 6 slices in it

and today, we got 12 slices of them

not surprisingly, those 2 regular pizza were hardly enough for all 4 of us

nonetheless, it was quite a feast. ohh, so fluffy and puffy the crust. and scrumptious the toppings. no doubt, olive and capsicum and meat just go together. pineapple's a delight too, yummy! and the surcharge worth it for the puffcrust we ordered, totally love it. though i could see how much oil=fat it must've contained.

yeah, definitely gonna have a treat like this again! domino's, wait for my next order~

so, the stomach is now satiated,  gush up, my spirit!! we barely have any more day left till the exam start. enough with  all these nonsense, and get serious!

p/s:can't forget the face Lia put up upon receiving our delivery, well, obviously she's overwhelmed, but it's also because the pizzaboy's good-looking, or so she said XP
